Snowflake closed in a stone
This picture is a close-up shot of this piece of (I don’t know what kind of) stone. I love it’s texture and colors. The diameter of the “snowflake” was only 2-3 mm. The magnification of the 105mm macro lens with the reversed 50mm lens is very impressive, almost like a microscope.
My submission for the Macroday challenge ‘Stone’.
Update: this picture was chosen as one of the favourites of Macroday’s ‘Stone’ challenge. Thanks to all those who voted!

Amazing effect!
I love the delicate shape of the "snowflake" and, of course, that golden/orange color!!!
Stunning orange! Lava and glass like. Very beautiful.
