Solargraph #1 || Film canister pinhole camera | Seven days long exposure
I’m participating in Tarja Trygg’s Solargraphy Project as a ‘can assistant’. Solargraphy is a photographic method for recording the path of the Sun, capturing it through pinhole cameras. The image was shot with a film canister pinhole camera on b&w photographic paper. It wasn’t developed only scanned and inverted in Photoshop afterwards. This is a seven days long pinhole exposure (06.07.2008 – 13.07.2008) taken at this place facing east. The bright line is the path of the sun (and it’s reflection on the water) during the one week exposure.
